CNN's Pentagon correspondent Barbara Starr reported within the hour that there are "dozens" of video clips on the two infamous CDs of official Abu Ghraib evidence.
NBC News Pentagon Correspondent Jim Miklaszewski says:
MIKLASZEWSKI: U.S. military officials tell NBC News, the unreleased images, show American soldiers severely beating one Iraqi prisoner to near death; apparently, raping an Iraqi female prisoner; acting inappropriately with a dead body; and Iraqi guards apparently videotaped by U.S. soldiers raping young boys.
I've seen some analysis on television of this, and the general consensus seems to be that there couldn't be anything worse. These analysts (sometimes quoted by reporters) claim that Arabs are likely to be even more offended by the rape of a boy than of a man, woman, or girl. The fact that it's on video won't help, either.
